To browse or use our website awesomepopups.io ("Website") or the Awesome Popups Webflow App (the "App"), you may need to provide us with some of your personal data ("Personal Data").

2. What Personal Data we collect, for what purpose, and on what legal basis
Personal Data is any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect, process and store your Personal Data to provide you with access to our Website and to supply the Services you request.
Registration and your account
To use the App, you need to create an account. In this case, we collect and process:
Identification Data. Your email address and, where you connect the App via Webflow, your Webflow account identifier. We collect this to create and manage your account, to communicate with you about it, and to confirm your identity, on the basis of performing our contract with you.
Email address. Used to manage your account (confirmations, password resets, service notices), and, if you separately opt in, to send product updates. Account-management emails are sent on the basis of our contract with you; opt-in emails are sent on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Transactional Data. Your (or your company's) name, billing address, country, and VAT/TIN number if applicable. Collected to manage payment and support once you choose a subscription plan, on the basis of performing our contract with you.
Website technical data
Because our Website is hosted on a web server, we collect certain technical data when you browse it, such as your IP address, browser type and version, and general location, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure and working correctly.
Personal data processed through the App
When you install Awesome Popups on your own Webflow site and publish a popup, the App may collect Personal Data about the people who visit your site and interact with that popup, for example an email address submitted into a signup form, or anonymous analytics such as impressions, clicks and dismissals. This data belongs to you as the Website Owner. We process it only on your instructions, to operate the Services, such as showing you the popup's performance in the App's Analytics, and we do not use it for our own marketing or other purposes. Our role and obligations as a processor of this data are set out in our Data Processing Addendum, available on request at support@awesomepopups.io.
3. How we collect your Personal Data
We obtain your Personal Data in a variety of ways, in particular when you register for the App, contact us, sign up to product updates, or use the App on your own Webflow site (as described above).
4. Cookies and similar technology
This Website (awesomepopups.io) does not currently set any cookies. We use one item of browser storage, sessionStorage, to remember that you have already seen the demo exit-intent popup on this Website during your visit, so it does not show more than once per session. This value is not shared with any third party and is cleared when you close your browser tab. If we add analytics or other cookies to this Website in the future, we will update this section.
The App itself operates inside the Webflow Designer and on the Webflow sites where it is installed, where it may use cookies or local storage to remember popup display state, such as frequency capping. Details are available on request.
5. Do we transfer your Personal Data to third parties?
We do not sell, rent or trade your Personal Data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business and the Services, such as a payment processor and our hosting/infrastructure providers, under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary for that purpose. Where a provider is based outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Such providers have their own, independent privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
6. How long do we store your data?
We retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion of your account and associated Personal Data at any time by contacting us at the details above.

In relation to the Personal Data we collect and process, you have the following rights at all times:

(b) Object to processing carried out on a legal basis other than consent.

We store your Personal Data in a secure database accessible only to a limited number of authorized people, and log access to it. Data in transit between your browser, our Website and our servers is protected using Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption.
